Carrot and Swede Cake

Ingredients

  • 100g bread and pastry Mix
  • 150ml liquid Dalia
  • 10g egg substitute
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 carrot (150g)
  • 1 swede (150g)
  • 2 pinches of salt and pepper

Preparation

  1. Peel the carrot and swede and then coarsely grate them.
  2. In a bowl, combine the Mix with the egg substitute, baking powder, salt and pepper.
  3. Moisten with the Dalia until a reasonably thick batter is obtained.
  4. Add the grated vegetables.
  5. Pour into a greased cake tin and bake for 30 minutes at 180°C (gas mark 6).
